Dell XPS M1330 First Impressions

I’ve had the pleasure of using the sleek and dare I say sexy Dell XPS M1330 for a few hours and I was pretty impressed. Dell has really transformed itself from its plain beige box image with the XPS line and this laptop is  a prime example. Some of the features are pretty slick: touch sensitive dashboard buttons, integrated fingerprint reader, internal WAN and WIFI cards, thin LED backlit display, 2 megapixel webcam, HDMI out, bluetooth module — all in a package under 4 pounds!

Of course the computer is loaded with Dell bloatware but it is still very fast with its 4GB Ram at 667MHZ and Core 2 duo processor T8300(2.4GHz, 800Mhz, 3M L2 Cache). Plus this Media Direct feature allows you to access files without booting into Windows. The final price tag: $1,257, very competitive considering the alternative.. cough macbooks.
