The Truth About Semi-Auto Firearms

I’m not necessarily pro or anti gun control but this video from youtube has just confused me. I was led to believe by this video that modifying a semi-automatic weapon so that it fires in full auto is next to impossible, then a quick Google search reveals otherwise.
